From light to dark

we're afraid of the consiquences,

our actions make

not assuming, not abusing,

we try so hard to lie

to one another,

afraid of ourselves

we cry at night,

and try to fix the imperfections

we face,

mirrored images, we are

doing the dirty work,

we cringe,

being eaten inside,

the guilt takes over
