Beautiful petals will show

if this flower is allowed to grow



Petals could only sustain

a small amount of the rain



Any more than a mist

make the petals fall and twist



Too much sunshine on the leaf

causes it's season to be brief



Not enough sunlight

keep the petals closed up tight



The springtime sun shone high on the morning dew

finally opened it's petals for it knew



That someday one will love her beauty within

For now her blooms will begin again.
