We’ve dark secrets held within

shan’t tell another soul.

Illicit acts described as sin

emotions uncontrolled.



Unfaithful touches in my mind

deep kisses shared inside.

Reckless feelings unconfined

yet cleverly denied.



A best kept secret, you and I

please promise not to tell.

A romance we can’t justify

unable to dispel.



Let’s break no hearts except our own

this love should never be.

It’s something others won’t condone

condemning  you and me.



Despite these fears, we can endure

whispering not a word.

I’ll be your perfect paramour

my silence is assured.
