Poets Heart

How simple it is to pour out my soul upon this piece of paper

No others eyes will ever see

No others ears will ever hear

No others heart will ever feel

My darkest emotion's, deepest feelings, and greatest love

Placed so gentaly upon a blank sheet

Like a mother laying her babe to rest

But like a wind does the words come over ones soul sweeping them away to a new place

Hidden from anothers face

Where tears are cried in silence

Where hurt is buried in depth

Where emotion is brought in to the light

A few words is all I share but they are enough to start the spark

Author's Notes/Comments:

Beautifully expressed. The tears cried for lack of intimate expression can often be deep rooted in a fear of the intimacy being misunderstood. Why so many find accurate communication to have great value. ~peace~

Yes. I see what you mean about affecting hearts even when saying little. Words are very powerful. And we each interpret them a little different. Applying our own life experience into the mix. And you're right most Wont see these scraps of paper we write on. Haha I burnt one of my writings in a fire the other day. That felt good actually.

I've enjoyed your works so far. Look forward to reading more.
