Lonely soul
dripping salty liquids
through her eyes
bowing her head in shame
for she is ashamed of who
she's not
a woman of the world
like everyone else
like everyone wants her to be
by herself she always stays
longing to be with the rest
like the rest
she remains alone
her hands shake
as an earthquake would
as she dreams of the way
she would like her life to be
smiling
laughing
friends all around
people all around
a reality
far from her own
is what she longs for
poor, lonely soul
her body quivers
her salty liquids drip
her mind wanders
and
she wonders why...
why does she have to be the
only one
the only one
left in the fields of
nothingness
when everyone else
has something to hold on to
and
she doesn't...
Love the title. Love the poem. I've been here before...actually more than a few times.
WOW... verry well written, love the way its formatted, verry fitting for the pice. i loved it. its good... your good.
Damn. That's all I can say. I felt this deeply.
On the contrary
you've much to give
for the sake of self
believe that I believe - in you
believe my love is true - unconditionally
for we are one
for in self love, you find self worth
and this you can share with your child
find love in self, is shall be reflected
in your child...
alone you never are
and friends all around, does not
equal friends when in need
Much Respect, One Love
One
