I thought about you today...

but then again I think of you everyday.

I miss the way you talked to me...

the intimacy we had on so many nights...

the times I held you in my arms

when life was hurting you...

the times I threw you over my shoulder

and carried you through the storm...

the times I sat in the corner

of your bedroom

and watched you sleep...

I touched your head one day—

you had a fever...

I blew a kiss at you

and it went away.

I protected you

even though you rejected me.

Like now...

you won’t talk to me...

you won’t share your heart with me...

you won’t thank me for the little things...

did I lose you?

Have I hurt you so bad

that you never want to love me again?

I miss you.

I miss seeing your teary eyes

as you tell me you love me.

I miss the way you trusted me

with your deepest, darkest secrets.

I miss you so much...

Excuse me...I need to wipe my eyes...

I won’t pressure you

but I’ll let you know...
