-I'll Walk With You....

I'll Walk With You....

I'll walk with you in pasture fair,

Just call my name, I will be there

To share and enjoy the sights you see,

the ones you chose to share with me.

To sit with you beside the stream

is more than I'd ever dare to dream.

Hand holding, kisses 'neath your sky

Why I waited so long, I wonder why?

Twilight's hues to hide my blush.

We slip into the evening hush.

Encircled now, within your arms,

defenses downed, yet no alarms.

Whispered words to a lonely heart.

From your solitude,  please depart.

You know I truly understand.

Come with me now. Come take my hand.

The call went out and you answered in a personal and beautiful way by returning with your most excellent poem. I could go on and on. . . but then, you already know how much this poem means to me! Thanks Kat!

Totally beautiful! I love the flow and the old-fashioned lilting rhyme. I just love all of it!
