He arrived at 730
nearly each and every day.
Drinking coffee, watching CNN,
our routine was just that way.
Sometimes he acted like a 'dad'
which annoyed me to no end.
But truly I should have realized
he was just being my best friend.
He'd gently offer his advice
then scold me like a kid.
'Cause oft times I'd ignore it,
screwing up as I did.
I'm gonna miss his daily chat,
his humor, wit, and wisdom.
I'm gonna miss my friend LeVane
an awful lot....and then some.
Very sad and bittersweet. I'm sorry you're having such a lousy winter. I think what is really such a shock is the truly unexpected loss. Here's hoping the very best in your future.
Here's a hug just for you. You've certainly cheered me up plenty of times.
