The Wind Will Not Blow

Folder:
~B~

The world will stop turning,
the wind will not blow,
no flowers will be blooming,
on the day that you go.

How do I go on?
Will I continue to breathe?
Put one foot before the other,
the day that you leave.

I gave my heart to you,
my arms open wide.
Now how deep must I bury
this love i must hide.

I will endure this pain,
a torture without end.
For all that I can have of you
is if you are just my friend.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I have a delema regarding this poem.  I can't remember writing it.  It very much expresses my feelings about a situation, and is very much styled the way I write.  Therefore, I must say, although I submit this poem under my name and believe it to be mine.  If I am mistaken, and someone can prove it to belong to another, by all means, let me know.

WOW!! I'm with you. It sounds like you, and anyone with a brain would want to claim something so beautiful.
