like the very air I breathe.
It surrounds me completely.
Its everywhere yet cannot be seen.
Some days my heart peals with pain,
unspoken words clammoring in my ears.
Ringing like a thousand church bells
on a quiet Sunday morning, so sanctified.
You have touched not just my heart
but every single cell of my body.
The eyelash on my shirt. a freckle on my face.
the tears on my pillow...each containing love for you.
I want to inhabit your mind,
live within the walls of your heart.
Be captured forever by your arms,
to erase the line that makes us seperate.
Can I say to you....My love, my love, my love.
I love you so.....be my eternity.
Take me, take me, take me.
Into your life, your love, your being.
Can you, will you, would you......
echo those words back to me?
Exalting my heart to the heavens.
Or hold me at arms length....rejected.
Love, it swells your heart
until it feels like it will burst.
Love, pains your heart.....torn
into tiny pieces, scattered on the wind.
The joy, the joy, incredible joy.
The pain, pain, excruciating pain.
It's but a thin, thin line.
That seperates the two.
Better for love to remain....invisable.
