I'm not great at talking about how I feel. 

No matter what I have planned out in my head, 

It always seems to come out wrong. 

So I'm writing this down for you today, 

To tell you how I really feel. 

You came into my life when I swore I'd had enough. 

But I took a chance and let you in. 

I don't expect perfection, 

Lord knows we're both just human. 

All I ask is that when times are hard that you allow me to sit with you in the dark, 

I want to show you that even on the darkest nights, 

The stars and moon will shine. 

Even if by chance the clouds are thick, 

the stars don't come out and the moon chooses not to shine, 

I will still sit with you and share my light, 

If only you will let me. 

When that darkness comes for me, 

I want to know you're sitting next to me too. 

If by chance those demons come, 

Please stay with me,

We can hold each other through the darkness, 

And let our demons dance under the stars.
