What do you live for?
Why do you breathe?
You live just to exist
Or you exist to live?
In the morning when you open your eyes
what do you wake for?
Just to consume oxygen?
Do you know there is Someone who is able
to stop your oxygen supply?
Do you know that everything that has been created
gives glory to God by means
of mere functioning
just as He intended?
Do you function as
God intended even before you were born?
Do you give him glory by the fact
that you breathe, and this only through his help?
Do you know why do you live?
what is your meaning,
and with what purpose you’ve been created?
You are here not just to consume oxygen
and to pollute the air with carbon dioxide,
You are here to find again
the purpose for which God created you;
You are here to be loved by the One
after whose image you’ve been created;
You are here to produce joy
to the One who gave you life,
to love the One who loved you with
an unexplainable love.
God didn’t create toys
to play with.
He made people like Him,
co-workers with him in the process of creation.
Only that we disfigured ourselves,
we mutilated ourselves
and we don’t look at all
like what He meant us to be.
Why do you live?
Why do you occupy this planet?
You are here to rediscover the Face
After which God created us.
That is why He sent us Jesus
He is the reflection of the Unseen,
He is the standard after which
we were modeled.
But we repelled him,
and became some deformed,
but the Creator doesn’t want us some
useless deformed.
Jesus took human body
to bring us to the
initial, functional model,
that’s why the Father sent Jesus,
to see him
to know him as He is,
to re-take his look.
Why do you breathe?
To acknowledge that only through Him you can breathe
and it’s only Him worth living for,
to radiate Christ’s perfume
on the blue planet.
You are here to meet
Christ, personally.
You are here to live a
victorious, overcoming and relevant life.
Why you are here?
To be the prism through which
God reveals His colors
in a world sketched out in white and black.
You are here to be a pointer to Christ,
To be the sole christic image
in some obscure guy’s life;
You are here to Represent Christ,
to be accessible to people
so that they will be accessibile
to God -
this generous Father
from eternity to eternity.
