i wish we could go back to how it was

i miss the way we were

everyone said we looked good together

even though we never were

we both let things get in the way of our friendship

now you are leaving

and i am staying

i wish i could say bye

but you now act like i dont exisit

so my wish can't come true

i just wish i could go back a couple of months

to the way things were

and maybe i could make things better

but my wish won't come true

so all i can do is say goodbye in my heart

and wish one day we'll find each other

and everything will be alright
