I'm Crazy
I'm fucking crazy. Mentally insane.
Baby, you don't know this pain.
You just turn your head with shame.
But it's not cuz of me.
No. It's what you do.
Though, you don't stop or care.
Why don't I just do the same?
No. I'm too fucking lame.
I hate what you do but just let it go.
Believe what you say, even though I know.
You give me lies like it's truth.
Just blame your immature youth.
I blame my self but why?
From the start it was a lie.
It wasn't even real, but I still try.
So stupid. But I'm smart, just crazy.
Illogical thoughts so hazy.
Change my mind maybe. No.
I keep trying. Unsuccessful.
Everything brings it back.
Push the thoughts of you out.
But then here comes the doubt.
What was it all about?
Maybe it was real. No.
I just let these thoughts steal.
They take my time. Happiness gone.
But was it ever there?
No. How could it have been.
I thought it was, but when?
Those fleeting moments back then?
No. Distractions from reality.
That's all it will ever be.
This harsh world inescapable.
No. There must be somebody capable.
Someone to make it real.
The happiness I want to feel.
There must be somebody to save me.
No. Fuck it, I'm crazy
It isn't easy to look at the
It isn't easy to look at the real reasons for the feelings you describe in the poem. It takes insight into self, and the courage to go up against one's own ego, and once you have those two things, everything just makes sense and the running ceases, the anger against those who seem to 'have it all together' dissipates, and you're free.
(and then 'crazy' can get back to being something fun :-) ).
