Although denied the pleasure of meeting you face to face, I'd like to
thank you for your eldest son. He's been my saving grace. I know his
greatest qualities were instilled in him by you, and so, I'd like to take
a few moments to share some of these wonderful things with you...
Cisco is the only man who has ever made me feel I'm loved.. He's taken my
children as his own, we are a family that nothing comes above. He brings
at least 10,000 smiles to my face each and every day... I don't know how
he does it, he just seems to have a way... His voice, it always soothes me
when I feel chaotic inside... I have no doubts, I could go through Hell
and back, as long as he is by my side. He is my inspiration, he gives me
strength to face the hardest days... Our love is one that will survive no
matter the obstacles that come our way. His love and understanding...
simply make my spirit sing.. it's been that way through all the days since
the very beginning.. His connection with our children (though I can only
speak on behalf of three), is one that is undescribable with words... He's
the best Daddy there could ever be... Aaron goes to great extremes to be
just like his Dad... He has the best intentions, even when his behavior
goes to worse from bad.. Sometimes I don't know what to do...There are
some days when I could swear, I'm dealing with Cisco #2.
Tianna, she's our "Picnic Bug" and a little more difficult to explain..
only because it can be like pulling teeth when trying to figure out what's
swimming through her brain... However, there's one thing that I'm sure
of.. she loves her Daddy too... She has him on what I believe to be the
highest of pedestals.. and anyone that dares to Criticize him in front of
her (may God have mercy on their soul), for she will go straight for the
jugular, and rip a gaping hole..
And Austin, well God blessed us twice with our little light skinned
Mezcan... I know it was his love for your son, his Daddy that made him
want to live again. Austin was really sick two years ago.. and his Daddy
pulled him through... all the strength, devotion and courage he showed
through that time, he must have learned from you. This child will do
everything he can to make his Daddy smile... If he thought his Daddy
wanted him to, he'd walk hot coals for a thousand miles.. And to this day,
that boy will fight for his Daddy tooth and nail.. and he will do whatever
it takes to make sure he doesn't fail.
Some might think this letter to be insane or at the very least, out of
place.. And that's quite okay. For they may never understand that you had
a hand in leading me to your son, my saving grace... So, this letter is
but one very simple way for me to say "Thank you for the wonderful man
that your baby boy is today!!"
our gramz are just the same if you know what i mean, i love reading your work and i cant wait to read more
