TOO FAST
The world is going by so fast I don’t know what to do.
Before I turn around to look another year is through.
The speed of life often makes me frown…if I could only slow it down.
When I try to stop and figure out why and another year has passed me by.
I ask my children to intone and to my surprise they’re already grown.
I ask my grandson, “What does it mean, and “Oh my God, he’s turned sixteen!”
I look in the mirror only to behold, how quickly I have gotten old
Then one day I found the solution to this particular evolution.
This time thing’s really not so laborious, the answer is ingeniously glorious.
Now the time has come to let you all know…hey speaking of time…I have to go.
