I climb up walls

I climb up walls
And fight flying insects
In a desperate attempt
To self-survive

On warm evenings
I take a lingering look at the moon

Does life always have to be a battle?

Too soon
Things increase their puzzlement
And falls can thrive
In this environment

We only want a calm day
No point chasing money

But the whole world seeks to interrupt this calmness!

Chant your way through to the next day
And drift from moment to moment
There is a better way...

But I am yet to find it!

Author's Notes/Comments:
I am better known for writing nonsense verse, a type of poetry very popular in England. This is one of my slightly more serious works though not without a touch of comedy to it too.
