I love the way you hold me near

it always seemed to quell the fear

it drives away those fears and doubts

it drives away the screams and shouts

of the voices in my head

I no longer wish I was dead

when I'm with you I'm at peace

and now that your gone you took a piece

of me that I never knew was there

and when you took it, it ripped a tear

from my eyes, the first since I was a kid..
