Looking out my window,

There's a darkness in the sky tonight

I wonder why...

But there's just one star shining bright

And I think of you

All that we've been through

Like the dark clouds and the rain

We both have smiled and felt so much pain



I want you to say to me

All the perfect things you dream

Like memories that will last forever

Or a gentle kiss to make it better

I want you to never be

So far gone we've missed the spot

Where those brilliant dreams could last forever

Where a subtle look re-ignites the spark
