For all the lessons I have learned

I owe you a lifetime

Hope for when I am feeling down

Faith in a God that loves me

Thanks for everything you have done

Without doing anything at all

Thank you for being you and helping me

If it hadden't been for you,

Today I wouldn't be me

I do not know if I'd be alive, had you not stopped me

You taught me how to love and live and let go

You taught me all of life's lessons everyone should know

You gave a smile in the morning and a person on the phone

A deep conversation about living

Taught me things about me I'd never know

You taught me who I am through learning about you

You gave me a goal to strive for and a passion

Thanks for making me who I am today

If it hadden't been for you, I would never have ended this way

I still am learning about myself each time I talk to you

I still am growing up inside into a man with passions and dreams

You gave me a vision of a family, a daughter, a son

You helped me through the tough times and gave me hugs

I love you unlike anybody else

You are my human savior, my friend, my helping hand
