Two ways to go
We're at a crossroads
Stuck in the middle
Between every good and bad time we had
Either way could be a dead end
Without enough time to stop and start again
Every partly-painted picture on the horizon
Still shows a canvas yet to be imagined
As the wind blows softly through me
I don't know where to turn
A life I have to work so hard for
Or an easy way out to crash and burn
I want to take the hard way
But the pavement seems to end
Do I forget the road, go forward?
Or take the road where hearts have to mend?
I've only got a year now
To pretend I know what's wrong or right
If you adventure into the world with me
I promise to keep you safe tonight
If it's time to forget these feelings
And moving on is what I have to do
I'll take what's left of me now
And do whatever makes you happy and true
We are stuck here at a crossroads
I don't know which is the right way to go
So, if you don't mind a little patience
Let's both walk straight until we know
