Feelings they fade

Along with the day

Until I get to see you

Until I get to kiss your lips

I will always miss you

In a way that you do not know

I will forever love you

And this love will forever grow

I will be there the best I can be

I will do all I can to make you happy

I'll be a friend for you

A man for you

Someone for you to tell your plans to

I will see you agian

It won't be like before

Tonight I am thinking about walking out that door

If I leave all that I once thought

Can we ever go back again?

I guess I might have to learn how to be content with

Simply being just your friend

Please tell me how you are feeling

I would like to know

Would you like for me to stay and fight

Or would you like some extra silence tonight?

I will always be here

In a way only God will see

I'll pray for you over and over agian

And hope your days go smoothely

I still would like to know

That those gifts and that kiss were real

That for a moment in this busy lifetime

We felt eachother all the same
