Some days- I just want to cry

Or maybe even- Just fall down and die

Those are the days that I get my test

Those are the days its hard to do what’s best

They will never go away

They will never give you your pay

I get so caught-up in the day-to-day

I can’t help but worry about yesterday

Then I go back to where I started again

And that’s when I need you, my lovely friend

It’s just those days- that never seem to end

That I need some help and comfort from a far off friend

So even if you think you wont make a difference to me

I want you to know that without you, I’d never be

So until that day that I need your mending

All that I need from you is some good befriending

So I am writing this poem to you today

To say how much I thank you in every way

I’m glad I have someone there to trust

Someone to tell me the difference between love and lust

You make all the difference in the world to me

You are all it takes for me to jump with glee

Now as I end this low

I want you to know how much I love you so

I could buy you a ring

Or anything

But all that I will do is say THANK YOU!
