Although you are gone,

I am still with you.

I got caught up in this mess,

And no words can express,

How much I miss you.

I need you,

You needed me.

You and I were together,

We were we.

Now it has all changed,

Now I feel so pained.

You aren’t there then I need you,

I am not there when you feel blue.

I swear that I have changed,

Although it may sound deranged.

But I swear it true,

I will still do anything for you.

Never before have I felt it so much,

I could feel the love just by your gentle touch.

If you don’t believe me,

Do come near,

I will whisper, “I love you.” in your ear,

But please, please don’t fear.

You can take and take,

And I will give and give.

I gave you my heart for our own sake,

But if you don’t want it, I guess ill live.

Because for you it is only once,

Never again.

I can only be your friend,

You want it this way,

I want it that.

Now the game has stopped play,

Now you won and you are gone, and I am left lying on the mat.
