If I wasn't alive, what would you do?

If I didn't exist, still would you?

If I never helped a friend, would you give up  yuor life?

If I didn't live here, would you be living in strife?



I ask these things, not because I want to know the truth

I ask these things because I will not always be here

I want to know how you are, if you care if I'm there

I want to know how you feel when I make you smile



Did you ever stop to think about a life without me?

Did you ever even wonder if you would be truly happy?

Not that I am the center of your life

I will not take that name, I will not rule a life



I was your friend, am now, forever will till the end
