Oh so well does your scent arrive
Most alluring even to the keen male
If not, you will surely dare to thrive
Or just go on they'll follow the trail
Many nights come and go very quickly
Though not enough words to exchange
Our souls speak, yet lips remain lonely
You notice me and ask if I'm going to stay
A quick hello is usually how it ends up
Though a tepid hug is all that's in need
Farther apart but it has gone far enough
And so we talk, my heart picks up speed
But I feel numb, subdued, yet confounded
We'll talk more about you and I'll be alright
Yes, how you love your taste for threads
Resembling fruits you just want to bite
Your smile surely tell your stories
And your warm heart will show all
Your beady eyes reveal mysteries
And those who observe will enthrall
Your lashes swift away like a butterfly
Your touch exampled, testing the skin
My thoughts explore, continue to spy
Our eyes stare to view deeper within
I know, I know, but why hide the words
They explain a need together with feel
The honesty in us is always preferred
But slowly our silence will soon reveal
My favorite line:
"Yes, how you love your taste for threads
Resembling fruits you just want to bite"
It has a crisp ring to it, yet soft. Nice.:)
