I am on my way home with a friend. We end up behind a nice car that caught our attention. I have this thing of coming up with phrases from the letters on select license plates. It's fun when you're bored. My friend and I also noticed this guy slightly swerving on the road. We were thinking that he might be sleepy or...drunk. We didn't want to call the police from our cell phone. (Maybe he's tired and he is almost home or he's almost home...drunk, and we didn't want to ruin his trip). How do we know he's almost home?..........? We are just assuming. After awhile I passed him up to turn right to my home. On the way home I started getting thoughts of that person causing an accident. I felt I should have called the police. But I didn't. Well I was just hoping that he got home safely. Well I took my friend home then I got home and went straight to the mattress. Two days later. I had a good day. Woke up early and ready to have a nice evening. Around 10pm I get a call from a relative saying that there has been an accident and for me to rush to the scene. One of my family members is being placed in the ambulance. An officer comes up to me and lets me know what caused this or how it happened. He was drunk, and passed a red light. (I was to worried about my family that I didn't realize or observed with my own eyes). I then went up to the paramedic. They said he might not make it to the hospital. I, finally look at the wreck. I noticed the other driver of the vehicle sitting on the sidewalk with his head down, on handcuffs. I glance over to the right and recognized the driver vehicle. I began to get these chills down my spine. "No, this didn't just happen". "Please tell me it's NOT the same car... ". I start walking to the rear of the car...and it's the same license plate.....
One of these days, the driver may be me...
