When the words fade away

and I've got nothing left to say

I will be happy just to stay

by your side



Silence speaks more clearly now

than witty words ever knew how

i won't tip my hat and take my bow

out yet



the show's just starting



You grip my soul tighter

though the conversations lighter

you make my outlook brighter

every day



I'll tell you honestly

(that's how i've got to be)

That I am afraid to see

what you and i could be

but someone knows

And if it's right, i won't let go



Every night i pray to see

a little glimpse of my destiny

Although i know he'll deny me

I can walk this long road blindly

cuz with you every day will be a fantasy



Strip away the namesake of

the flings and things that we have left

Deafen us from the roar of

a world that who may say

that there is no way

Blind us from the sights and scenes

that filter through the magazines



And in this moment let no others pass

Please God, Let it last.
