My vision has expanded

I once saw only in primary colors

through the screen of flickering personality

Now I’ve been noticing

reality presenting itself

in higher-definition color and sound

thoughts resound, rebounding off of mental walls

until they find a comfortable spot to sit

waiting to have my full attention

Perception becomes tangible

the depth of every event palpable

and there is a song weaving through the moments

changing with the movements

swaying with momentum

commotion

separated into packets

stored in a web of connections

I am a machine of mentality

upgrading my components

tri-core processor

digital becomes trinary

ones and zeroes and negative ones

Author's Notes/Comments:

Sometimes, I just don't bother with punctuation in poetry.

"Sometimes, I just don't bother with punctuation in poetry."

Sometimes you don't need to.
