Met a grotesque man
Government servant
Polished in underhand
extended
them under the tables.
Like a hungry bulldog pup,
He yelped and whined.
Bottoms up, gulped
Bottles of red wine.
Throwing words with sissy grace
Explained
He, the matter as complex.
Grabbing at the gift wrapped case
Brought to him from the 'Schweiz'
He promised to keep the deal,
be merciful of the legal tender appeal.
No uncouth documentaries reveal
of transaction rightful ours.
Pity, the entrepreneurs?
Dear Jayati,
Your poetry reflects your passion and your rebel nature. After reading your poems I feel you must also be a very sensitive person.
