To See Who You Are

Folder:
LIFE

How can i decifer the words you speak

While they are monotone, without detail,

Indirectly trying to explain

Yet I know inside, you're bitter and frail.

I wanted to understand you,

See beyond stationary vision-

But you barriered it off,

Held back, created this division.

It confused me not to see you upset,

But to see you lost within your own being.

Quick to conclude and subside,

Haulted anyone else from seeing.

I wanted to know you from the inside out,

Without these feelings thrown about.

Yet, you proceeded and I'm still not quite sure,

Which makes me want to wonder all the more.

Lose this mask, and unveil what's hidden,

From this, we cannot be forbidden.

Drop this shield from which behind you hide,

For the truth shall not be denied.
