If you really knew me..

You would know that I have been hurt more times than anyone should

You would know that I have major trust issues because of it

&

You would know that I’m scared of getting close to people so I always push them away

If you really knew me..

You would know that I am very insecure

You would know that I cry myself to sleep many nights thinking that no one loves me

&

You would know that I need to feel needed and I feel as if no one needs me as much as I need them

If you really knew me..

You would know that I push all of that aside to hide behind a mask

You would know that I don’t ever let my guard down

&

You would know that I can’t let people see me being weak

If you really knew me..

You would know that I put all of this behind be to get through the day

You would know that I truly love my friends and family

&

You would know that I am always here to listen and always here to talk

If you really knew me..

You would know that I love brightening other people’s days because it brightens my own

You would know that I am very caring and very relatable

&

You would know that I am very open to being anyone’s go to person because I would like to have one of my own.
