The Way Things Use To Be



You use to say you loved me,

But now I'm not so sure.

We used to be together,

But that is not true anymore.

Everyone said we were a cute couple,

I thought that it was cool.

Why did you go and break my heart,

You acted like a fool.

I guess thats the way things use to be,

It will never happen again.

I wish I could go back in time,

Because I liked life a lot better

then

You asked me if I was fine I said yes,

But it was a lie.

That was the day that you broke my heart,

The day I thought I'd die.

Now everytime I see you with "her",

You holding hands and flirting too.

Everytime I see you there,

I wish I was there with you.

I guess we gotta move on now,

Thats the way its gonna be.

I really miss those good times together,

The way things use to be.....
