Never have I been more scared
than I am today.
I'm more afraid of you
than I care to say.
I don't want to be hurt,
don't want to take the pain.
Don't want our sunshine
to turn into our rain.
Let me know it's okay
to come out of hiding.
Help me embrace theses feelings
instead of fighting.
Tell me not to fear.
Tell me not to fight.
Tell me not to tear.
Say it's going to be alright
Tell me you feel the same as I
Tell me you too want to feel
something that is special
something that is ours, something real
Tell me it's possible
for our wish to come true.
