Faith
“FAITH”
Suddenly the clouds started to turn gray and the fire appeared and started to reach the top of the buildings in a blink of an eye. The buildings collapsed and screaming and crying could be heard from everywhere. Then… BOOM the earth exploded, it was kind of a big bang, and the earth was divided into millions of pieces. All that land masses were left into ruins but in one of them they were 2 survivors, a monkey and a turtle. These two creatures were afraid and were devastated for losing everything they had. They felt lonely and started to realize what had happened.
What happened? Am I dreaming.. The turtle said.
Everything happened so fast… Said the monkey.
Where are we?... Said the turtle.
Not a clue… Replied the monkey.
God, we need to be strong and start looking for shelter until this nightmare is over… Said the turtle
Then both of them started wondering and questioning themselves what had happened and decide they need to be positive and find a shelter immediately. They walked for several hours and it didn’t matter in which direction they went, they always reached the edge of the land mass. They started losing their strength, their faith and even their minds. They started to get crazy, they needed to drink and eat something urgently. Suddenly they saw a waterfall and ran without thinking towards it. After running for several meters they realized the waterfall was a mirage, but they didn’t stop running. They realized there was no waterfall but instead there were 2 rocks colliding with each other creating some kind of shelter. They looked at each other with puzzlement.
Is that … The turtle said.
Yes, it’s… The monkey said with some amusement.
Shelter … both replied.
Walking with a steady peace. The monkey and the turtle started to get nearer to the 2 rocks. When they were only inches from the 2 rocks they started to hear some sound inside they were not sure what was happening.
Are we the last animals in the land mass? The monkey asked.
I don’t know. Answered the turtle.
They reached the opening between the 2 rocks and got inside it. They thought they heard voices but they didn’t see anybody, everything was dark. At the distance they saw a small light; they walked with caution towards it thinking of the best possible outcome of this adventure. The turtle touched the light after and that the lights of the entire cave turned on, and they saw many other animals. They separated from each other, looking for their families and friends, Turtle was the first to find one of his relatives, he screamed with joy “DAD!”, both got together and found his mother, Monkey saw turtle with his family and he started to lose faith again, but in a matter of minutes his mother and father found him, both Turtle and Monkey lived with joy in their new world and they decided to call the new world Faith.
Lesson..
Never give up.. Always have faith even if you feel that you are losing everything or things don’t turn out the way you expect them to be, you can always find your paradise to be happy and even better than before.
