My Internal Congress

“You are lazy and self-indulgent!”

“No, you deserve to be happy.”

“You pretend to be someone else!”

        “It’s never wrong to dream.”

“You are no better than a trash!”

“You know you are better than that!”

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!”

“I am scared…I can’t do this.”

        “Everyone gets scared, be brave.”

“My life is so out of control…what will I do now?”

“I don’t know, it is your fault.”

“No, it’s not…”

        “Yes, it is so…”

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!”

“I hate you, you’re wasting your time.”

        “So? Nobody cares anyway.”

“I hate you, for being so smart.”

“You just can’t understand me, stupid!”

“I don’t want anymore of these- I want peace.”

“You think were not getting tired? Bah!”

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!”

SILENCE ALL OF YOU!!!

Order in my court please.

What you have to say is important.

Each of you will have the chance to speak.

This compassionate observer shall listen.

For our greater good, so we might be whole.

I am all of you...speak and be acknowledged.

And the last say is mine.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I am ready to start anew... ~©jerlin~
