A Moment in Silence

Folder:
2007-2009 Poems

In the middle of the night

When everything is silent,

I hear Your music

Serenading my whole being.

I never knew how I missed You,

How I thirst for Your presence,

How my life has been – loud.

So distracted, to feel the nearness of You.

Oh how Your nearness

Thawed this cold soul!

The beatific feeling of comfort

As warm tears flow…

And this woman is once again

A child in front of her Father

Sobbing, dropping everything…

Communion in silence.

No one will ever know me as You do.

I never felt so listened to.

And I thank You for this moment in silence.

The music of Your presence.

Thank You for sticking by me... =)
