tear my heart out and set fire to my dreams.

drown me and step on my trust.

no one has been able to snuff the truth though.

the emptiness inside the spokes turn my death null, just as my hopes of anything but, fall on deaf ears.

My breath has come.

My life while trapped and scared, painful and alone, is still that. life.

My breath has been before.

with these words I face whatever may come.

for as the tides ebb they also flow.

and in the center of it all, that which is emptiness, makes me who i am. whole.

and no one can take that away.
