At Genesis 4:7

[in memory of the Virginian Poet, Nugator]

Myself, I think the devil has a son
whose name, intent and purposes have been
well known for generations:  he is Sin;
described, in early Scripture, masculine,
in Genesis---when Christ directed Cain
to do well, nor permit Sin to have reign
upon and over him.  By inspiration,
Moses wrote what he wrote.  No accusation
of error can reduce it or obtain
other than heretic interpretation.
Sin is not, and has not been, feminine.
The pronoun proves its gender all along,
in allegoric sense; with demonstration---
that Milton's reading was, in this case, wrong.
