At The Dead Folks' Prayers

 

". . . golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints . . ." --- Revelation 5:8

 

The many prayers they lifted up while still alive
are incensed at Savior's altar, where they thrive
until their answer.  Our Lord, Jesus never spurns
a faithfil, though deceased, believer's prayer concerns.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Presumably, only in this way do the dead pray for us; and the prayers they have set into motion, in life, continue to oscillate, until answered, after their death.  I believe my own salvation experience may have been brought about this way, through the prayers of a devout Christian relative who, in fact, passed away almost seventeen years before I became a Christian.
