The garden's landscape is quite natural---
a random placement of stones and thick flowers;
a small and shallow pool to hold the fountain's
flow. Distantly, is that the Olive Mountain's
green slope, just past Jerusalem's tall towers?
No common cemetery's shadowed gloom
invades this sunlit place---most beautiful!
And over there, that compact grotto-cave
shall make a dignified and peaceful tomb.
Fine fragrances pass through here on each wave
of wind. Leaves, petals, vines are gently kissed
and watered, nightly, by a gliding mist.
