At Lady Certainly's Stockings: Sentimentality
I dreamed myself back in college, dreaming of you,
there, in a bubble bath, clad in just stockings (sheer, blue):
with reinforced toes, and slender, pronounced back-seams.
The moment seemed more real than most of my dreams.
To make it most real, deserves "the old college try"---
despite what convention and inconvenience deny.
