At The Peace-Wisher's Intrusion

As long as they abide, I shall not cease
to wish for them, and give, my kind of peace.
And I use many forms, a wolf in fleece,
an angel of the light, some bad advice;
I can be all, or none, and I shall take,
today, the coil and cunning of a snake.
I know that Christ forbids to touch the tree.
What do I care, I am his enemy.
The first step of my plan will soon unfurl
when that curvaceous, adolescent girl
gives heed unto my question, with increase
of boldness.  Each of them will have a piece
of my mind, and this challenge that I toss
to Christ---that I am not the one to cross.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I have learned, today, that my poems on peace-wishing have been set too far from the original source.

The setting, of course, is based upon Genesis 3.

This is one of the best poems i have ever read on this subject! I really enjoyed it some of your best work, different than most of your work in its tone but still amazing. Rae
