As Guilty as War

Exit mother peace
Until there’s no more trace of her
Yielding to the wishes of men
In destroying one another
All turned into this malicious call of war
and this senseless pride of the nations -
Praising the blind justice of the trigger
and its wrath
Where men are as guilty as the women
Women are as guilty as the children
And children are as guilty as the hatred
that dwells inside the hearts
of those who are hungry
only for the glory brought by fear
and domination
Exit mother peace
As though she never existed
There in those lands where
her name was never heard of
where her shame was the loss
of all that killed the others
Exit mother peace
And return only when the harbingers
of oppression are devoured
by your absence
When all of Mother Earth become nothing
more than a wasteland
Devoid of chaos
Devoid of oppression
Devoid of life and existence.
