I tried to hold on to you

taking all the things that I've seen

when I cant find the words to say

I say things that i dont mean

- so i lie


They're all judges

and they're pointing their fingers

to me alone

So I keep soaring

I get high and then I'm gone



So tell me

How could you miss me now

Just when you let yourself

remember all of my lies

And break me

and rip away my pride

But I cant kill that sorrow

buildin' from your swelling' eyes



I've tried saving that love too

dyin' to make all of your dreams

come true

But the road up ahead

leads us to whats sad

so I ran away
