Darkest blue and streak it with clouds?

Did you paint the sky?  Did you fill it with doves and larks and Soaring Eagles?

And when you were done, God, did you change the canvas,

Smearing it black with mighty hands,

And while holding Your brush, still dripping wet from painting The clouds,

Create the stars?
