guarded with disdain

over a birth he could not change

sensitivity fusing with empathy

taking in another's sorrow

as if it were his own

mixing with his own emotions

blindly trusting his neighbors

opening up apon first encounter

setting himself up for heartache

completely honest in his innocence

saving one who had been doomed

enslaved to a dying fate

new feelings unusual to him

love blossomming in his heart

teaching it to his recued one

in turn growing stronger of mind

the truth chained to his soul

the chain revealing the truth

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I wrote this one for my friend Megi. Its actually about one of her RP characers. :) So, it won't be going in any of my books
