Seperate Reality

Folder:
3. Nameless Enigma

wavering in dreamlike abandonment

losing the threads of consciousness

drifting to sleep in his protective embrace

clinging to him in possessiveness

having slept lightly her whole life

constantly on guard against danger

she was tired of incessant watchfulness

letting down her guard in this manger

since the incident so long ago

she never trusted a man so near

now together they sleep in the hay

tranquility replacing her fear

this serene moment had eluded her

though she yearned for it so much

now she discovers freedom

in the sweet form of his touch

sleeping contentedly in absolute peace

in the cradle of his arms she curled

a child on her own cloud of paradise

oblivious to the rest of the world
