Nocturnes: Random Waves
If space is truly curved, like a balloon
inflated (but contracting) perhaps time
is also curved. Perhaps we can transmit
this message with such swift velocity
it will swing about time's curve to meet the past
as its future (rather than this entropy).
Others are said to have tried this with lights:
records of ancient epochs have implied
that these arrived as unidentified
flying objects. Perhaps we can now take
advantage of that complex hypothesis
to send this message so far forward that
it doubles back to ages that we know
only as data almost too old to date
accurately. We shall broadcast this often
in every deadened language we can find.
