Work, slaves!, and gather every bit of straw
that you can find. Replenish all the stocks.
The tally of new made bricks must not fall.
Transport up to the work sites must not stall.
You must invest your backs---your ives---your souls
to meet, and then exceed, our stated goals.
You all must learn to think outside the box:
Pharaoh and his staff are your customers.
And you exist to serve them: that assures
complete compliance with our policy,
to which you owe accountability.
But carelessness and insubordination
will be punished---up to full termination,
from which you will have no delivery.
These rules have had their full incorporation
by reference in Pharaoh's latest direction,
which is put on display for your inspection.
